Can someone in the Forward Party explain why they have not came out in support of RFK’s presidential run? Andrew Yang officially endorsed Kamala Harris yesterday who is the antithesis to everything the Forward Party stands for. RFK being an Independent candidate Polling at 15%-20% nationwide against Trump/Harris who’s against political labels seems like someone they’d be interested in! He stands for quite literally everything that the Forward party and its creators such as Yang have been preaching since its creation. He’s not worried about Democrat/Republican culture war nonsense, but rather moving the country forward through collaboration from all spots of the political spectrum with the goal of moving America out of this extreme polar state. Is there history between RFK and Yang that people don’t know about? In the grand scheme of things they’re both rational Democrats (well I thought Yang was) that probably agree on 90%+ of issues so that also doesn’t add up. Yang had been preaching the Democrats need to replace Biden but never even mentioned RFK as a possible replacement who he would probably agree has a good chance to defeat Trump in the fall. Collaborating with RFK would give Forward its biggest platform and shot at getting a non Republican/Democrat into the Oval Office. It seems like they’re intentionally just ignoring there biggest opportunity they’ve ever had. Why has no one asked Yang and other Forward Party leaders about this in podcasts or news interviews? Has the RFK campaign been reluctant or turned down working with the Forward Party? Looking at how his campaign has been open to working with just about every political party this wouldn’t make much sense either. Can someone please make this make sense?

I’m tired of the press protecting Joe. His age is 100% a legitimate issue - it may be THE issue.

Democrats saying “but look at Trump!” are missing the point. You owe the country a nominee who can defeat Trump without making most of us nervous about their faculties or ability to complete a term.

The official position of the Department of Justice is that the President running for REELECTION is so old and infirm that no jury would be able to convict him Do people realize how fucking insane this is?
Techno Fog@Techno_Fog

Hur would decline to press charges against Biden for a number of reasons: A jury would not likely convict. Biden is too old to prosecute. A jury could believe he did not willfully retain the docs. A jury would see Biden "as an elderly man with a poor memory."

This is insane. There is no way that this man can serve another 5 years. Everyone covering up for him and blocking any other democratic choice should be ashamed. His loved ones should intervene for his sake and the sake of the country.
Branko Marcetic@BMarchetich

Spec counsel: Biden showed "diminished faculties and faulty memory" in both the interview recordings w/ his ghost writer & when they interviewed him, during which the report says he had gotten "worse." Couldn't remember when he was vice president or when his son died.

South Carolina's Democratic primaries are today, and even though they didn't count the New Hampshire primary, the nominee already seems certain. We deserve a nomination, not a coronation.

Democratic presidential candidates Dean Phillips and Marianne Williamson slam the DNC for “destroying democracy” in NH primary debate Phillips @deanbphillips: “This is one of the most egregious affronts to democracy I’ve ever seen… Please take note: the parties are destroying democracy.” Williamson @marwilliamson: “What’s going on now is suppression, shutting down [state] primaries, as Dean was saying. In my case, the invisibilization of my campaign in general. Because there’s a political-media industrial complex. This is not the vision of the Founders.”
