If someone had said, last August: "In 12 months time we'll be in the middle of a pandemic and millions of people will refuse to comply with safety measures designed to slow transmission", I'd have laughed at their silly joke. But, here we are.

@AlCmarmite @WomensRightsNet @NotthatSuzanne there was no F option. I could see the mans shadow under the cubicle wall, then had to wash my hands with him in the communal hand washing area. Just me and him. I couldn’t get out of there quick enough. Was awful, & why I feel so strongly about this.

Thanks to all the people who responded to this thread. One thing that seem to need some clarification is the question about people who are clinical vulnerable (CV) In short: NPI is unlikely to reduce the risk for CV. 1/

It is getting more and more obvious. There is only one way out of this pandemic - HYBRID IMMUNITY. We can 'play around' with the viral world by changing our behaviours in different ways. Thus we can reduce the transmissions for a while, but the viruses come back to bite.. 1/

This is a seriously bad take. Zelensky and his wife do interviews and photo shoots to keep up Western interest in Ukraine. The more the invasion is in the news, the more military aid and funding they can get. This isn't moral bankruptcy, it's a man trying to save his country.
