St Margarets Bay Rd is closed to traffic between Albert Walker Dr and Prospect Rd. The offramps from Highways 102 and 103 to Prospect Rd are closed. Halifax bound traffic on Prospect Rd is being diverted to towards Bayers Lake. The public is being advised to avoid the area.

Photos from the Barrington Lake, Shelburne County fire. It is still out of control, covering 17,186 hectares. Firefighters include more than 70 from DNRR and more than 40 volunteer/municipal. There is a helicopter and two water bombers on site.
