Lenin was a state capitalist whose army invaded a free peasant commune in Ukraine of 7,000,000 people, subjected conquered towns to massacres, and once he got power, began to primitively accumulate those same peasants, resulting in famine in the process. Fuck Lenin

Yall happy the Syrian government collapsed because of *checks notes* “Assad bad.” You freaks look at the world through such a narcissistic lens; believing every leader must be a perfect example of your American leftist world view. What has happened in Syria is tragedy!

Don’t message Syrians congrats and then go ahead and fck it over with, “I hope it’s not for the worse”. Excuse my wishful thinking, I don’t know what can be worse than sarin gas, murder of 600,000 people, barrel bombs, raping women in dungeons, 40+years of detention and torture, etc. Try not to let your selfish pov to cloud over Syrians.

The atmosphere in occupied Chechnya is growing increasingly grim. Every day, residents must remain highly vigilant to anticipate what new, coercive methods the occupiers will devise to force them into dying for Putin.

🚨It has been reported that across the entirety of occupied Dagestan, raids and abductions have begun as part of a covert mobilization effort. Checkpoints are being set up in settlements, where officials stop pedestrians and order them to follow them to military enlistment ↓

people revealing themselves to be some flavor of.... flattening... when they refer to the AANES/SDF/Rojava as "the Kurds" ... easy term for it but, AANES is Arabs, Kurds, Assyrians, Armenians, Greeks, Chechens, Adyghes, Turkmens -- Muslim, Jewish, and Christian.

The bill in Georgia is pro-Russia in the way that it is aimed at giving the pro-Russia Georgian Dream government more power to fight against anyone it perceives as having "foreign influence" which in practice meaning anyone who seeks to undermine their power too much

Caucasus been having more and more protests against Russian political-capitalism. 3 weeks ago in Abkhazia protest against tax benefits for Russian corporations. And now protest in Georgia against the anti-LGBTQ, pro-Russia bill coming into effect

There is an intellectual point here, because it shows that you are being morally and analytically consistent across in-group/out-group dynamics. Campists will support Palestine but not Uyghurs/Syrian, Arab nationalists will support a mixture of these but not Kurds/Imazighen, etc.

People keep saying that Palestine is the litmus test, when it's very easy for all sorts of horrible people, esp. campista, to clear that litmus test. A litmus test that a lot of horrible people don't pass however is Palestine + Syrians + Uyghurs + Kurds + Imazighen

The torrent of disinformation regarding Syria is always staggering to see. That one could tweet this—knowing full well that Russia ALREADY has levelled Syrian neighborhoods—is only a pretext of the kind Israel uses to preemptively justify mass slaughter and cast itself as a hero
Alex Barnicoat@AlexBarnicoat_

After seeing the videos that are coming out of these Syrian “rebels” and the disgusting things they are doing: I fully support Russia using WW2 tactics, evacuate the civilians and turn the city into Stalingrad for the terrorists.

It’s tragic seeing the people of Efrin being forced even further from their homes. I hope and pray that one day they will all return to a free Efrin in a multiethnic democratic Syria. But given the alternatives now, safe passage to NES is the least worst option.

The Kurdish community in #Shahba area is facing an another wave of displacement as HTS and SNA have taken control of that region. This is the second time they have been displaced, the first time was from Afrin and now from Shahba.
