🥳🤩🥳I am over the moon that ContiZymes has received an #ERCCoG from the @ERC_Research. I am very grateful to all the people, who helped me preparing the grant. But none of this would have been possible without the outstanding efforts of current and past group members.

It was a pleasure to be focusing on this work for a significant part of my #PhD at @itqbnova. Special thanks to my supervisor @InsCardosoPere1, as well as @cmota_15, @RitaRManuel, and all the authors involved in this work🥳

This mechanism is reversible in vivo and conserved in other FDH from anaerobic bacteria, likely conferring fitness advantage during transient O2 exposure. Additionally, it is a great advantage for the application of this enzyme in biotechnological approaches. +
