@bwoods1989 The observation process changed at the start of this season. Referee is now rewarded for being proactive rather than being reactive. Key Match Incidents do not carry much weight

Happens across the board. FA system completely broken, fast tracks, throwing fellow colleagues under the bus to climb up the ladder is also another common one. Referees now days have to have or create drama in games to be able to get decent observation marks. So broken

ESSEX CORE Q3 Tonight our CORE group met up for Q3 with the main focus being on ‘Positioning & Movement During Open Play’. The session comprised of indoor and outdoor learning, in which each of the referees received feedback from our coaches on how to enhance their positioning and movement from the simulated drills.
