The IT industry (especially in India) seems to prioritise engineers with experience. But, what about kids that just graduated? Private colleges don't give a flying fuck about providing proper internships / placements etc. The ones that do are predatory to say the least. Even in my university they're making us do mandatory UNPAID internships. From companies THEY PRE-APPROVED. Fucking frustrating. We're cooked.

I don't understand. If junior software engineers are not hired then who will takeover after the senior veteran engineers retire?
