Rigathi Gachagua accused Dennis Itumbi of occupying President Kibaki’s office. The office is located in Nyari, Gigiri. President Kibaki occupied the office for nine years until his death. The government bought this office for a whopping KES 250,000,000 to be used by former presidents. Uhuru Kenyatta was assigned the office; he refused to use it over various issues and opted to convert part of his residence near State House into his office and have the state pay him rent for his own house. The question is who should use it given President Kibaki died and Uhuru Kenyatta rejected it? Should the office that the state pumped in KES 250 million be left idle?
