A friend of mine travelled to the West recently and went to pray at a mosque there. He told me the khutbah started normal, then slowly became political and started talking about jihad. He literally said: “I can see how people here get radicalized hearing this stuff.” He got up and left halfway through. This is exactly why the UAE and other GCC countries regulate mosques through Ministries of Awqaf. It’s not about “controlling religion” it’s about stopping religious spaces from turning into political recruitment centers. The Muslim Brotherhood mastered this years ago: mix religion with politics, build grievance narratives, then slowly create ideological loyalty. The West keeps viewing this as “freedom of speech” Gulf countries view it as national security. BAN THE MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD

🇪🇬/🇸🇩:- 𝗘𝗴𝘆𝗽𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗹𝗶𝗺 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗱𝗮𝗻 Egypt's policy toward #Sudan represents one of the most dangerous contradictions in contemporary Middle Eastern and African geopolitics. Cairo publicly presents itself as a fierce opponent of the #MuslimBrotherhood at home, having outlawed the movement, imprisoned thousands of its members, and framed the Brotherhood as an existential threat to #Egyptian national security. Yet in Sudan, Egypt has chosen to back a military structure deeply penetrated and influenced by Islamist networks linked to the same ideological current it claims to fight. Egypt has continued to provide political, logistical, and increasingly military support to the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), despite mounting evidence that Islamist factions and #MuslimBrotherhood-aligned militias have become central to the #SAF's operational strength. Recent reporting revealed Egypt's expanded drone deployments and military involvement near the Sudanese border, indicating that #Cairo is no longer simply a diplomatic supporter but an active strategic participant in Sudan's war. Egypt's position exposes a deeper reality about authoritarian statecraft in the region: regimes often oppose #Islamism domestically while weaponising or tolerating it abroad when it serves strategic interests. The consequences of this policy are catastrophic. Sudan is already suffering one of the world's worst humanitarian crises, with tens of thousands killed, millions displaced, and entire cities destroyed. Foreign intervention has transformed #Sudan into a battlefield for regional proxy competition, where outside powers fuel war rather than peace. Egypt's support for SAF-linked #Islamist networks risks reviving the same authoritarian-Islamist structures that contributed to Sudan's decades of repression under Bashir. Moreover, Cairo's selective approach to #politicalIslam undermines its own credibility. A state cannot claim to wage a principled war against extremist ideology while simultaneously empowering actors connected to that ideology beyond its borders. Such policies do not eliminate #extremism; they merely relocate and instrumentalise it. It reveals how regional powers such as #Egypt manipulate ideological conflicts for geopolitical gain while ordinary Sudanese civilians pay the price. Sudan's tragedy is not only a civil war, but also the product of external actors (such as Egypt) who claim to support stability while enabling the very forces that perpetuate instability and militarised the #MuslimBrotherhood influence across the region.

Overnight, Nigeria and the United States recorded a significant example of effective collaboration in the fight against terrorism. Our determined Nigerian Armed Forces, working closely with the Armed Forces of the United States, conducted a daring joint operation that dealt a heavy blow to the ranks of the Islamic State. Early assessments confirm the elimination of the wanted IS senior leader, Abu-Bilal Al-Manuki, also known as Abu-Mainok, along with several of his lieutenants, during a strike on his compound in the Lake Chad Basin Nigeria appreciates this partnership with the United States in advancing our shared security objectives. I extend my sincere gratitude to President Trump for his leadership and unwavering support in this effort. I commend the personnel involved on both sides for their professionalism and courage, and I look forward to more decisive strikes against all terrorist enclaves across the nation.
