本日、天皇陛下に信任状を奉呈し、駐日オーストリア共和国特命全権大使として正式に着任いたしましたことを、大変光栄に存じます。 駐日オーストリア共和国の特命全権大使として着任できましたことは、身に余る光栄であり、深く謙虚な気持ちで受け止めております。 両国が共有する価値観、利益、そして相互の信頼に支えられた、緊密で温かい関係を、今後さらに深めていけることを楽しみにしております。 Today I had the great honour to present my letters of credence to His Majesty the Emperor, formally assuming my duties as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Austria to Japan.   I am truly humbled to be appointed as Ambassador of Austria to Japan and I very much look forward to further deepening the already close and affectionate relations between our nations — a friendship based on common values, joint interests and mutual trust.
