@Average_Sam_101 Absolutely not. The chart got me in. Clear breakout at $11. My reason for staying longer than the target (which is not standard practice and is not advised) is conviction, based on my interpretation of the fundamentals and path of growth.

Navitas $NVTS is +20% today (again). My gf is the one who put this stock on my radar, and now we are having a toxic battle of who closes/realizes highest return. This one is different for me guys

@Average_Sam_101 Unoffended - thanks good question. I follow my rules 95% of the time. There are exceptions based on conviction or fear. One or two a year I tend to hold past target for better or worse. I still trail my stop though

@Average_Sam_101 @TechCharts Exactly, but at the same time you protect yourself from possible highly adverse scenarios because breakouts can fail, if they don't fail most of the time go on pretty smoothly and strongly, it's a tradeoff

First pullback and a breach below the pattern boundary reduced the categories to Type 3 and Type 4. If it succeeded after the hard re-test could have kept the pattern integrity. Latest news effects resulting in failed moves in #TURKIYE #BIST100 equities. A Type 4 breakout. @TechCharts I am playing situations like these by putting a 2,5% trailing stop once it happens the breakout If a breakout happens a trend is supposed to start, if it doesn't start and simply marks a fake breakout at least you get stopped before things can get really nasty

@TechCharts Since it is slanted, would you consider a valid breakout when it closes above the neckline or when it gets above the right shoulder peak?

While I like to capture breakouts from pattern with horizontal necklines, this H&S continuation is also valid with a downward sloping neckline. The right shoulder can be analyzed as a possible short-term symmetrical triangle that can act as a launching pattern. #EUROPE #BANKS
