I like how Ichigo looking down somberly in this small frame while reminiscing about Ukitake says so much with so little. Kubo is really smart when it comes to conveying emotion through subtle visual cues. A similar portrayal is shown in The Blade Is Me.

The only Zanpakuto in #BLEACH that are known to passively exist in their released forms aside from Ichigo’s Zangetsu are the Zanpakuto of Squad 0. Ichimonji naturally takes the form of a brush Shigarami naturally takes the form of a sowing needle Kinpika naturally takes the form of an Oar And Kirio’s unknown Zanpakuto takes the form of a giant spoon. Could it be that Zanpakuto with Reiō influences cannot be sealed back into Asauchi form? And instead always exist in their true form? Old Man Zangetsu is an aspect of Yhwach, who himself is the offspring of Reiō. That Quincy factor + the latent Fullbringer power in Ichigo brought about by the Hogyoku could have mimicked the effect on Zangetsu that the Oken has on the Zanpakuto of Squad 0 What do you guys think?🤔

I just realized there’s another duo of Captains who fit this criteria way too well to not share a blood connection. It’s not as obvious as the probable Hyorinmaru’s of Toshiro and Furofushi, but it’s pretty obvious.

@Azure02616214 No. Base Zangetsu is Engetsu with Sode no Shirayuki’s guard. It’s a mix between what his Zanpakuto would have been naturally and Rukia’s base Zanpakuto since she awakened his powers.

Tsukishima is not the biggest villain in terms of the scale of his crimes. But, no one in Bleach created that level of tension for me. He didn't want to destroy the world, while his influence would psychologically destroy the victims anyway. #BLEACH #ShukuroTsukishima
