@BAyonote I have had a similar experience with @ExploreLegend in Abuja, 3 and half weeks now since payment and nobody is responding to my complaints. No installation done no reason giving. Double thinking this new relationship with them.

The Fibre itself is very fast. 22Mbps in Nigeria is very impressive. However, I fear for the business. I don’t think it will survive for much longer with that kind of customer service. Their CEO @BAyonote would do well to address these if they plan to stay in business. End.

INTERNET IN NIGERIA: I’ve been with @Spectranet_NG for about 5 years. The service was okay. I was paying N18,000 per month for a ‘Gold Unlimited Plan’ or something. However, working from home exposed them. There’s nothing unlimited about the plan. I decided to try others. Thread.

@DrJoeAbah Lastly, I looked through a number of comments which we will take as feedback, however if we can appreciate that for a fibre connection to be established, physical construction over long distances through tough terrains and permits etc to go past peoples houses

@DrJoeAbah So in a nutshell,no one builds out with these types of intentions to piss people off and yes we know what we are doing,because with all this,the majority of the service and the customer base is fine.We have 99.95% of our customers active,99.99% network availability.

@DrJoeAbah We have an installer program, we take freshers train them to become fibre technicians,and provide them with a steady pipeline of guaranteed revenue and what is most beautiful is that we have watched hundreds of people come out of poverty to being owners of viable businesses

@DrJoeAbah Your unfortunate experience is consistent with what a number of customers who have recently tried to get or gotten the service have witnessed.There are 2 major weak spots we are battling,new service onboarding and Customer communication.We are fine with other parts of the chain.

Part of the reasons of going ahead with the MTN system is because the customer service from @ExploreLegend is shockingly bad. I am blessed with very good blood pressure. When things cause me too much stress, I just let it go and stop worrying about it. That’s what I did.
