Politician, Candidate of Record, Langford/Highlands Conservative Party of British Columbia

Money laundering is the engine driving drug trafficking, fentanyl deaths, gang violence, and extortion across our province. British Columbia has become a major hub for transnational organized crime, and far too little has been done to stop it. I have a clear and decisive plan to fight this crisis. I will immediately appoint an Independent Officer of Anti-Money Laundering, an officer of the legislature who can investigate and publicly report without any political interference. As Premier I will be the strongest provincial voice in Canada demanding real action from Ottawa. That means pushing for a federal racketeering law, full data sharing from Fintrac to our police, and immediate improvements to security at Delta Port where less than one percent of containers are currently searched. We will also target organized crime groups and crypto-enabled money laundering networks that allow criminals to move dirty money with ease. British Columbians deserve real leadership and real results. This is the strong, decisive action I will deliver. Join me, findlay4bc.ca

I am endorsing Kerry-Lynne Findlay for BC Conservative Party Leader! I was debating whether or not to endorse a candidate in the BC Conservative leadership race, but the stakes are too high not to and yesterday's attempt to disqualify her was the final straw. British Columbia is in a very tough spot right now. Almost a decade of socialist NDP rule has plunged the province into an economic crisis, a property rights crisis, a crime crisis, a drug crisis, and a wokeness crisis. On top of that, BC Premier David Eby is fuelling a national unity crisis with his radical anti-pipeline ideology. The damage is profound. What BC needs right now is not politeness backed by a slate of consultants, but an experienced and confident conservative with a strong track record, and a combination of toughness, passion, and compassion. That person is Kerry-Lynne Findlay. She is focused on common sense, not nonsense. She has a plan to fight back against wokeness. She supports free speech. She is committed to property rights. She will fight crime. She supports pipelines. She supports reopening mental health institutions. And on top of all of that, she is also a true-blue Pierre Poilievre Conservative. I interviewed the three frontrunners, scrummed all five candidates, and watched them debate multiple times, including in person. And while I enjoyed all of these interactions, I left most impressed by Kerry-Lynne. And the fact that my interview with her got nearly 40,000 views, making it one of the most-watched interviews of the BC leadership race, makes me think I am not the only one who feels this way. I will, of course, support whoever wins this race. All five candidates are decent. And David Eby and his radical socialist NDP must be defeated. But to my BC Conservative friends: please vote @KerryLynneFindl! (And put Yuri Fulmer as your #2).
