@sanitycheckr @RevKoka @Finnz722 This is literally a generalization though. How do black people tend to embrace their criminals ? You think the average murderer in the hood is looked at as a prominent figure ?

@RevKoka @Finnz722 @BMadoffJr I don’t disagree that black people as a whole get stereotyped harder than white people. Although white people do have their “white trash” which they ostracize. Meanwhile, outside of black conservatives, black people tend to embrace and defend their 🥷 and criminals.

@toyoufromapollo @Finnz722 @PrattArmand @DOgbuishi No actually saying things like were said in the video feeds into racist generalizations. Saying these see us on tv acting a fool strengthens their argument that the small percentage of us who act this way are a representation of all of us. It’s at worst lazy at most harmful.

@BMadoffJr @Finnz722 @PrattArmand @DOgbuishi it’s a moot point because what’s to be done with that info? do we quit? or keep doing something that has no point according to you since racism will still exist? if it isn’t one or the other, it’s a moot point. holds no weight. it comes off as an excuse more than anything.

@BMadoffJr Ok let’s do an experiment shall we. Write a statement about black people improving and don’t use the words racist, racism, white people, slavery, government, cia, Jim Crow, welfare, system, white supremacy, etc. Make the statement to black people and ONLY focused on black ppl.

@MeetiKnuts @necksteppa77 @Corgis52 Yeah I agree it’s the main cultural export. Doesn’t that say more about the media you consume than black people though ? You know how easy it is to find thoughtful and educated black people online ? It’s obviously not as prominent as the negative but have you ever went searching

@BMadoffJr @necksteppa77 @Corgis52 It is literally the main cultural export of black Americans to the rest of America, with black America itself, and the world. I think it is idiotic to try and deny it with anecdotal evidence of a few friends you know.

@BMadoffJr Therefore Racism isn’t the problem, our Inferiority complex is the problem. We’re blaming the White man for or own inadequacies. We can’t compete academically, financially, and civilly so we cry victim instead.

@toyoufromapollo @Finnz722 @PrattArmand @DOgbuishi My argument was never that black people don’t need to build a better community. The only point I made is that when we eventually do so racist people will still be racist.

@BMadoffJr @Finnz722 @PrattArmand @DOgbuishi and what do those black ppl do? they take care of their own immediate and some extended families. we don’t come together as a community and build programs/institutions that stretch nationwide pooling black citizens money into funds to develop power. we did once and BLM scammed us

@nakianichele Once again my argument is not that black people shouldn’t be looking for move improvement. All I did is reply to the point in the video. No matter how much we improve racist will still be racist. So focusing on their opinion is irrelevant. Focus on us!

@BMadoffJr Ok, but stop bringing up racism to prove your point bc white people and racism shouldn’t have to be mentioned for us to act like civilized human beings. Black people have become more obsessed with racism than actual self-determination.

@sun_pwrd As low as my inability to control my emotions yet I haven’t shown any emotions we’re talking on Twitter. You’re letting racist talking points sway how you see a black people you haven’t even met before. This is my point. No amount of better behavior will change anyone’s mind.

Again, your reading comprehension skills are just as low as your inability to control your emotions . I literally just said twice that the talk that you see on social media does not represent all Black people. I made a clear distinction. Yet your emotions took over and you drew a sweeping assumption and had to divert to Italians. We’re talking about Black people here and Black people only. But you can’t do that without bringing in white people and your knee jerking

@BMadoffJr Why are you so focused on white peoples opinion? Instead of thinking about white people all day how about we focus on why our kids can’t read, why the MAJORITY of us act uncivilized, why our kids are killing each other, why so many fathers are not in the home raising their kids.

@necksteppa77 @Corgis52 Please explain the stranglehold. I know plenty of BLACK people who don’t listen to rap period. I know plenty of upper middle class black people. So explain to me the stranglehold. Because what you see on social media ?

@Corgis52 But my point is if you let the musicians of a group of people influence how you see the group as a whole it’s ignorant. I can listen to rap all day and not think every black person is a gangsta. That’s how racist people think.

@moneytree_T But you’re making the same generalizations. Irl I know TONS of black people who care about sustaining the community. Throughout history there has always been more good black people than bad. RACIST chose to let the bad of us be their representation.

I agree. No amount of civility will change a racist BUT what about the apathy within our own community? Take the white people out of the equation. Black people truly dont care about sustaining the community. Its a nuanced convo that shouldnt be reduced to respectability politics
cee@BMadoffJr

I hate the notion that if black people just acted “civilized” white people wouldn’t be racist. No matter how you act people who are racist will find justifications for their racism.

I have had a ton of negative black experiences. I went to a black school and then went to a college in an extremely black area. I met a lot of great black people that I still call friends to this day, they are loyal, funny, and would do anything for me. Unfortunately I also met a very large amount of black people with awful anti social tendencies like the inability to control their emotions, the loudness and rudeness to service staff everywhere, there were murders. In my white college we were literally told to stay in doors on “urban nights” which is where the black college took over the streets and I’m not lying someone died every single night from being shot or stabbed or whatever. We didn’t have a single white perskn die the entire year from something like that

@BMadoffJr Why not act civilized bc that’s the best thing to do for you and your family. You shouldn’t be acting civilized bc of racism you should be doing it bc that’s the right thing to do. Acting civilized should be a human right that everyone strives for.

@BMadoffJr This. The mind thinks by association to a degree I can't fix. I'm not spending my life trying to change anyone's opinion. There are some black people who need his self improvement advice, but not with this "y'all gon piss the good white folks off" framing.

@Finnz722 @PrattArmand @DOgbuishi You realize there are way more successful black people now than back then right ? The amount of black people in professional fields is the highest in history yet racism is still here. Thats the point! No matter how far we get the people who are racist will justify it.
