We designed our very own class coat of arms.We designed it as a class thinking about which animal we wanted to choose and which colours as they all have a different meaning.We then worked together to make it. We chose a fox for cleverness,blue for loyalty and purple for royalty.

This week we are focusing on coats of arms! 🛡️

Our challenges this week.. drawing castles, labelling them, using loose parts to create a castle, and writing about a fantasy castle

In Maths we are re-visiting part part whole!

This week we have started our new topic.. “What was it like a long time ago?”

Using different coding equipment, the computer to design an African collar, and an iPad to read a QR code and listen to a story. #bessacarrcomputing

In Maths we are focusing on the relationship between doubling and halving.

I’m computing we are looking at coding and using the iPad to search for African animals to draw. #bessacarrcomputing

Some activities this week.. Reading captions and deciding whether they are describing Africa or England. Reading and following instructions, and making a safari picture and writing a sentence about it.

A big thank you to Harrison’s Mummy who came to talk to us about the importance of cleaning our teeth! We had lots of fun doing the different activities! 🦷
