INDIA KEEPS BUYING RUSSIAN OIL DESPITE SANCTIONS India said it will continue buying Russian oil regardless of U.S. sanctions waivers, with purchases driven by commercial interests, petroleum ministry official Sujata Sharma said. Sharma added that India has secured enough crude supplies and sees no risk of shortages. The ministry also said state fuel retailers are losing about 7.5 billion rupees daily on fuel sales, but the government does not plan to support state refiners financially.
