Not going to lie, Asian is actually quite pathetic in this regard. White people are proud to speak in their language (well obviously). Black people are proud to talk to each other in their whatever language or tribe language. Mexican are proud to speak to each other in Spanish. Only Asian will stare at you or answer your question in English when you ask them in Chinese as if they are afraid HR will come and said they are gossiping or sharing company secret if they speak in their own language….

So basically, she spent 30 years trying to be white, then realized that white people just saw her as another Asian. Why do some Asian people need rejection before they can be proud of who they are?

What is going on in NYC??? Donike Gocaj, 56, from Briarcliff Manor, fell into an uncovered manhole in Manhattan and died. She fell about 10’ into a manhole full of near boiling water and steam and died. The medical examiner’s office said she died from “scald burns with inhalational thermal injury and blunt force trauma of torso." Later, the manhole cover was found 15’ from the manhole. I hope the family sues the crap out of the city.

They would negotiate market-driven contracts, cut waste, innovate on scheduling and fares, and deliver reliable service—or go broke. No more political theater, no more involuntary taxpayer underwriting of union power. Government can’t run a railroad efficiently. Markets can. The strike threat proves it.

At one point she tells him you have your dad’s last name and I have my dad’s last name. 🤔 Some people were saying that they think she should have taken her husband’s name so their whole family has the same name. Some men stated that they took their wife’s last name. 🤯 (I’ve never heard of that before.) While some other women stated they hyphenated their last name with theirs and their husbands together. I never gave this much thought. I didn’t realize this was a thing, or that so many wives don’t take their husband’s last name and I’d never heard of a man taking his wife’s last name. Do people in NYC not own bikes? Or do apartments just not have bike storage areas? Just curious why citibike is so popular when you could just buy a bike instead of renting one. Obviously citibike has an extra level of convenience
