I was thinking about the idea of a fat village, like Toronto’s Gay village. A neighborhood where dieting advertiments are banned. Where all cafes, gyms & shops are fat friendly. Where all doctors, nurses, trainers are fat. A neighborhood full of street arts made by fat artists :)

For the first time, my fitness instructor was my size—and I noticed more big people attending the class too. The space felt truly welcoming to me as a fat woman. We definitely need more body inclusivity in fitness to break stereotypes and make everyone feel at home.

We all know how a car centric society reduces our wellbeing and resiliency and yet we continue relying on car infrastructure. It’s frustrating.

Attended a session discussing how commuting affects student success and engagement. Negative experiences impact students’ ambitions, social engagement, & academic achievement. Thought about our students' commuting challenges in St. John's throughout the presentation. #CACUSS2024

My brother and I had the same hairstylist, Ali. He was the first person with green eyes I had ever met. I was always curious if his eye color was real, so I made sure to ask him every time I visited. He reassured me they were while my mom was apologizing. 📷Iran-Isfahan, 1991

The thought of a war between Iran and Israel is paralyzing. Such a scary night…
