@Smileyyeg I am unsure why we are expected to extend any grace at all to those whose stated goal is to destroy our home.

Calling 700.000 people in a province a fringe minority it’s looking for trouble. How did it worked out with the trucker convoy ? Now from 1000 truckers you got 700.000 separatists looking for independence .!:)) By the end of the year you will have to deal with the entire country .!:))😂😂

David Cochrane: The [Alberta] government could try to move ahead with this referendum. They would still have to meet the threshold of the duty of consult Jeff Rath: No, they don't, sir. You don't understand the law! Cochrane: They're the Crown Rath: They do not have to consult

No matter what you are trying to do in Canada, you are not allowed. In fact, you are not even allowed to have a vote. Scratch that, you are not allowed to even sign a petition saying you want to have a vote. That is what Canada has become and why it needs to end. Alberta needs to leave and the rest of Canada can wallow in its stagnation.

@consultevans Keep calling Albertans ditchbillies while we literally pay for you to live. I want support for separation to increase and that helps a lot.

@Kehodude @EricRStPierre @VinceBroderick2 You underestimate the resourcefulness of the average small-town Alberta boy. And you clearly haven't been following what's been going on in Eastern Europe. You also assume a "fair" fight.

Albertans ask yourself this: Did the Americans ask for their Independence in 1776? No. They took it.

There is no comparison between the Quebec and Alberta separation movements. Quebec separation is based on being a distinct society and culture. Alberta separation is based on money and the perception of some of being wronged.

Jeffrey Rath knew that derogating on treaty rights wasn’t an option. Because he’s the lawyer who won in Supreme Court 21 years ago that there is an obligation to consult treaty nations on changes to s35 He also helped other First Nations to get modern treaties

@WSOnlineNews @_angelica_toy And almost nobody stops to ask the deeper question: what kind of freedom is this, exactly, when the boundaries of that freedom are ultimately determined by institutions, bureaucratic functionaries, and procedural gatekeepers?

➡️ @_angelica_toy : Quebec has had the opportunity to hold two referendums. Are Albertans treated differently? ➡️ Premier Smith: We think there might have been an error in law and we are going to appeal it.

I view something out of mad max. Roving gangs of fiends and criminals, convoys protecting oil shipments. Absolute chaos and anarchy. There is absolutely no strong leadership of this movement, any of the prominent individuals are the most incapable of leading any legit movement.

@JasonOnTheDrums There is no way to fix a socialist nanny state that has more takers than makers. When the freeloading parasites vastly outnumber the productive, collapse is imminent. There’s nothing anyone can do about it. The next phase is that the socialists start culling the complainers.

Pro-independence activists needed 177,732 signatures. They just delivered nearly 302,000. Alberta’s Brexit moment is here. Ottawa can no longer dismiss Western alienation as fringe noise. A reckoning is coming. THREAD 🧵

This kind of rhetoric will backfire on mainstream media. Telling Albertans that what they’re feeling is actually being driven by Russian propaganda is so completely ridiculous it’ll only fuel anti Ottawa sentiment. Albertans have an amazing bullshit detector.
Ryan Gerritsen🇨🇦🇳🇱@ryangerritsen

This is North Korea level propaganda from CBC. What the media is doing right now is a coordinated attack on a movement our Government is clearly afraid they’ve lost control over. They are even claiming a fake website is advancing “extremist” views within the separatist movement.
