What @b_dechambeau did for the sport of Long Drive this week is astonishing. This is one of the biggest stars in the world of golf and he did not have to do this. He did this solely to help grow the sport of Long Drive and promote the players.

I’ve always thought the long drive competition should have a separate competition measuring the dispersion of drives hit as well as the distance and then we would all know who the longest straightest hitter in the world. It may well be DeChambeau.
