"I would probably give an organ to have the guarantee of Alisson Becker playing for Liverpool next season." "You want Alisson to be the goalkeeper from the beginning of next season, because there's enough uncertainty around this Liverpool side... when he's on the pitch he is in some way certain." 🎥 Pre-Match Warmup

@LFCApproved I just don't think the club trying to guilt people into "he is staying so back him". People have to see something to believe in.

Fanbase is rotten at the moment. If you have an opinion that on slightly has a positive thought about next season, you’re getting pelters. People are so fixated on abusing Arne Slot that nothing else matters. It’s looking highly likely he’s here next season and they’d still rather attack him in attempts to get rid of him over backing the team to do well. And if the team starts bad again after attacking him, they’ll still blame him rather than the incompetent hierarchy who haven’t got rid of him. (Yes, I expect morons to misinterpret everything I’ve just said, and begin attacking me, like usual).

I could tweet 'I hope liverpool play well next season' and there will be 50 replies telling me im a clown and i should kill myself.

@AnfieldSector It saddens me that since Klopp left the club seems to have lost its emotional intelligence. It's not a cold hard data number that can be quantified and yet it is soo important. The biggest lesson from Jurgen was the power of unity, of belonging and feeling valued.

I think at this point we’ve just got to accept it and move on. They’re clearly backing him, so all we can do now is hope things change next season. No point going on about it all summer. Strengthen the squad properly and hopefully we’ll be back up there.

@AnfieldSector When the bond was not great between the fans and the players Klopp had the smarts to make the first move and get the players to stand in front of the kop. He gave them something to get behind. People aren't told to follow something they feel compelled to be part of.

@AnfieldSector People don't get behind something because they are told to. They want to feel they belong to something and when their concerns are ignored that either become louder or disengage.

@AnfieldSector He has spent the season talking about what we lack and people wonder why we have a weak mentality. If Barcola thinks that Arsenal is a better bet and Diomande goes PSG will we be saying that it isn't his fault because we couldn't get the right players

Arne Slot: “When I say we are in a transition I don’t mean to not expect anything from us. “I hope nobody feels that. I was expecting, just as you all here, that we were more able to compete for things than we were this season. Although we lost in the FA Cup to the team that won the FA Cup and we lost in the Champions League to a team that not one team could beat over two legs. “Then of course there was the Premier League where we had no chance to win it, that was clear after 10 or 15 games. It is not saying, ‘Oh, don’t expect anything from this team’. Definitely not. This team has showed that we were able already to be at a certain level and we can only evolve this team. And if we can do the right things over the summer, things can only improve.” [@LewisSteele_]

@AnfieldSector Wouldn't Diomande want PSG and Barcola want Arsenal? Two clubs with stable teams doing exceptionally well. What would the excuse be then? The system needs elite wingers to work but we will try again next summer.

[🟢] NEW: Do not forget another name in the wingers domino this summer and this is Bradley Barcola. Liverpool really appreciate the player. They considered him in August 2025 but they were focused on Isak deal. Barcola is still not signing a new deal at PSG as of now and so in case of Yan Diomande decides to go PSG, Barcola could be a serious option for Liverpool. [@FabrizioRomano]

@TalkofLFC One in which the new mentality has seen us become a soft touch and the dressing room of players that were here before can see that it won't lead to long term success and that we need to restore the successful methods.

Circumstance gives Slot UCL qualification just as circumstances hampered his & our progress this season. #LFC can not be as bad as we've been this season next season so lively hope surely - New signings for a balanced squad Proper preseason Departure of old mentality 🙌

@MelissaReddy_ When asked how things could be improved it was all about transfers. So basically saying the players aren't up to it. If your the players that impacts your value, potential career earnings. What if you think the coaching is not good. Do you not have the right to reply?

Mohamed Salah is lambasted for not speaking enough, then when he does, is slammed for not doing it at the time and in the manner his critics demand. He is not a performing monkey. He has given absolutely everything he could to the game - and for just shy of a decade, to Liverpool. Why is his love for the club always questioned? Why can’t he speak as a fan of Liverpool, which he is? Salah FC or Misperception FC? substack.com/home/post/p-19…

Slot is & was always top pick I can't see how a #slotout insurrection will overcome data selection that has worked success for #FSG 1.5 decades. Lie to yourself all you like that Klopp is a genius computer😂 BUT the foundation was always a data triumph Wise to just cheer #LFC

@BeHe74046 @TheBorisBecker @LFC Its not an issue to appoint naturally. The issue is always after evaluation and since yall have issues, it suggest the evaluation points to replacement, doesnt it? How is this different from real life & enterprises? 🤷‍♀️

@TalkofLFC @TheBorisBecker @LFC Slot, who also appointed Van Bronckhorst to replace him. None of these issues were the issues they have been under Slot and that therefore demonstrates the biggest issue is the standard of coaching.

@TalkofLFC @TheBorisBecker @LFC Heitinga was the biggest influence on Gravenberch and tbf some of the issues - struggling to deal with straight long balls and controlling games- started to come in last season. This season that has gotten far worse and he has shown no signs of delivering answers. Why give longer

@BeHe74046 @TheBorisBecker @LFC Yes. We saw that last season with Grav, Salah & Szob. They all admitted it. So what changed? Circumstances. So correct that then reassess is how id do it from a productivity stand point. I believe thats what #FSG mean by backing Slot. Dec we can be decisive minus circumstances

@TalkofLFC @TheBorisBecker @LFC I think good coaches improve players. Everyone of our players - perhaps bar Szoboszlai - has regressed this season. Our model is predicated on maximising resources and the team being greater than the sum of its parts. We are the opposite.

@BeHe74046 @TheBorisBecker @LFC I don't think the coach needs to teach a guy earning £150kpw how to pass accurately. Or how to run, jump or tackle & win duels at this stage. If they don't have it, its not there. The defensive pressers were sold summer so no surprises. That's why I don't see a coaching problem.

@TalkofLFC @TheBorisBecker @LFC Fair enough. I go to all the home games and have for 37 years and I think the squad is not balanced but they are not as bad as they have been made to look this season and I think that is mostly down to coaching.

@BeHe74046 @TheBorisBecker @LFC A proper fan. #LFC games are a must watch wherever in the world i am. So I watch. And objectively cant reach same conclusion as many. I see the possibility that bereavement concussion effect happened to the squad. I think squad is not balance I'm holding judgement till December.

@TalkofLFC @TheBorisBecker @LFC I think you only have to watch us to see we are poorly coached unfortunately. When the dressing room start making it known then the coach is in a very tricky situation.

@BeHe74046 @TheBorisBecker @LFC I'm in business development with a global presence so speak from experience wrt decision making in operations vs in marketing 🤦‍♀️ All the buzzwords of intensity, style of play, coaching are irate assumptions of fans who lost their bragging rights. @TalkofLFC @TheBorisBecker @LFC What objective study are you basing that on? I think most fans worked it out from watching them for 12 months and the players likely worked it out from being coached to a high standard previously and understanding what that is.

@BeHe74046 @TheBorisBecker @LFC Fans concern are usually a gregarious collection of hysteria most times. How did they conclude it was a coaching problem? By knowledge or by feelings? Liking a post suggests nothing in operational decision making. It's useful for marketing only 👍
