Genuine question because I've seen several tweets about even if I didn't want to, when did the narrative start that it was suddenly bad that Glitch made merch that coincided with their Pilot drops? They've done this since BEFORE Digital Circus, Murder Drones STILL gets Merch Drops. Every Pilot gets merch to help potentially fund new seasons. The sudden outburst of "Suddenly they're sellouts for making merch over just a Pilot" is baffling, they've been doing it for YEARS, it's literally a part of their identity and no one cared until recently.

Like look you don't have to like something anymore, but it's not a excuse to start attacking people over it. "Accountability and Responsibility" is a lame excuse to bully people you know.

I come back and the first thing that happened was everyone regressing back to "2016 Tumblr tantrum" or "2013 Cartoon Reviewer" in how they treat indie creators. Like bruh, liking something is not a crime, indie content getting recognition doesn't mean they're now corporate.
