The first two cuts have shortened one end of the van. No sanding, or any kind of cleanup. Very very pleased with how clean the cuts have come out. Now for the rest

Starting work on the vans so I'll be able to paint this batch all together. Ride height and width is perfect, but it'll need a lot of chopping to get it to length.

IT WORKS Got some new metal pins to replace the broken ones, and the turntable is fitting nicely with a smooth deck and ramps. Just need to add sides to the turntable and give it a coat of paint

Poor financial decisions have been made. I've always seen this sad puppy of an OOn3 loco on ebay since I started modelling this scale. And I've finally decided I will be the one to adopt it and give it some love. I can fix him, even if it's just cosmetically for now :)

I am once again reminded of thr best toys to come out of Thomas. Unfortunately mine suffer from the all too common issue of the pegs snapping on buildings, and parts missing. Taking it on to fix these issues by replacing the pegs and turntable.

Its simple, its stupid and its silly, but I adore the quick conversion of this TT tanker to OOn3. Widened the frames by 2mm, bufferbeams by 6mm, and reattached the brake levers further out. Now to mod the second one

Already found a metal rivet with the perfect dimensions to fit in the turntable hole. Now I just need to make a deck to mount on it.
