@dilukha_illust Good take. I think this also explains why “mikuteto slop” is so hated. In an era where the producer and the music is the main focus/force of the scene rather than the voicebank the prevalence of Miku and Teto duets would be seen as nothing more than a curiosity.

the "Death of Vocaloid" era dominated by producers like balloon/nuyuri, when the novelty of the Singing Computer wore off and people kinda stopped using the voices' characters in videos, is when the scene started maturing the return to 2009 style fandom feels juvenile to me
