Dr. Raymond Omollo — CBS
Public service, for me, is a conscious commitment to impact lives, shaped by experience in both private and public sectors. It is demanding work defined by persistence, responsibility and purpose, where progress often comes after sustained effort against doubt and resistance. I have also learned that leadership is not only about delivery but about people; safeguarding mental wellbeing, staying grounded in healthy habits and remaining connected to communities, especially the youth and emerging leaders. Ultimately, setbacks are part of the journey, and it helps to remember that challenges are shared experiences, not personal isolation.

Imagine a world where we find CURE for the population believed to be "protected" from Malaria ( the people with the sickle cell gene HbAs gene) This group so far is the largest . Then we push for affordable gene therapy/ and BMT . Lastly eradicate MALARIA ! @Birthmark_Kenya

Since the 25th of April is World Malaria Day, I wonder if there are new malaria related -gene mutations. Sickle Cell and Malaria have coexisted for long. @Birthmark_Kenya ,

In your view why are autistic people not diagnosed in childhood? Is self diagnosis valid and how can we advocate as a community? #Autism

A child carefully lines up toys instead of playing in ways others expect. An adult organizes data with the same intensity and is praised for being detail-oriented. One is corrected, the other is celebrated. The difference is not the behaviour, it is how society chooses to interpret it. We have seen autistic individuals thrive when their natural strengths are recognized rather than reshaped. Their focus, consistency, and attention to detail are not limitations. They are valuable contributions when given the right environment. This leads us to reflect on a deeper question. What if the very traits we try to change are the ones our world actually needs? #EveryLifeHasValue #AutismAwarenessDay #RedefineValue
