Ananya Panday's Bharatanatyam isn't the first time Bollywood has tried to portray South Indian culture and ended up making a mockery of it! In another Bollywood movie, rice is served in a 4 compartment vessel that's basically reserved for pallyas (vegetable side dishes) 😭

I bought my own plot of land when I was 22 , far before getting married. Sold that and bought two residential flats later. With my own hard earned money and education. There are certain boundaries one mustn't cross with women you speak to online if you're a man. Do not comment on their bodies, weight gain/weight loss. Compliment with a certain amount of decency without kiss, hugs, hot , fire emoji. Learn some basic internet etiquette please. Dear ladies, own your own house.. stop buying gold, stop buying unnecessary luxury stuff, stop everything else.. first buy home. I can’t stress this enough.. however small it is, even it’s a single room penthouse. Just get it. Have a shelter of your own, when your in-laws are abusive and your parents tells you to adjust. Leave both and live on your own. If you are still making a career/been a housewife Get out, find a job, however small it is, it’s good if it pays your bills. Get out, join a women’s hostel, work, feed yourself, until things are sorted. Never stay in abusive marriages. Learn a skill, upgrade, start over. Don’t fall for the propaganda that women should tolerate abuse for marriage to work.
