Using adverbial phrases, conjunctions and subordinate clauses to add cohesion to our writing was today’s task. We took sentences from our quality text and uplevelled them. Some fabulous ideas from year 5 today…you were on fire !! 🔥

We have been choreographing 16 beat motifs during our dance lessons, incorporating canon, unison, mirror, match, speed and different levels. Amazing creativity, partner work and whole class compositions.

Every product has a design brief and must be fit for purpose. Before starting the designs for our next DT project, we carried out some market research using our own questionnaires then analysed the data to come up with a design brief.

We started to interrogate our new text by using our literal, deduction and inference skills. Some excellent observations and discussion took place, but how much correct or accurate have we been? We’re excited to find out…
