@SapienAssassin @WhiteHouse @GOP That honestly sounds like the mindset you have to develop to survive in creative industries 😭 Turning rejection into motivation instead of discouragement is probably what separates the people who keep going from the people who stop halfway through.

@Bookdoc34781 @WhiteHouse @GOP The fire eventually becomes addictive. I think the ones who make it learn to be motivated by rejection. It becomes a dare.

@SapienAssassin @WhiteHouse @GOP I’ve also heard querying and pitching can be brutal in a completely different way from writing itself, so I really respect the persistence that takes. And of course 😊 I genuinely find the process interesting.
