@TeslaTopics @DirtyTesLa 14.3.2 here. Never as bad as your experience, but there are times when I wonder why I’m not proceeding. (Like you, I hesitate to hit the accelerator in case I’m missing something). At other times FSD has no issue at all moving quickly before traffic arrives. Inconsistent.

This is the first time I’ve ever had to take over with a critical intervention in a long time. I have never experienced this kind of hesitation on a left turn before, even in earlier versions, where it would stop mid-turn and block the path of a car going straight. I hesitated to take over, thinking there was maybe someone crossing, but there wasn’t. What happened here @elonmusk @aelluswamy @Tesla_AI?

@jeremyjudkins_ I use iMazing to backup my iPhone occasionally (for an offline backup). You could use that (or some other backup software) and then restore to another iPhone for testing. iMazing provides lots of flexibility as to what you can backup/restore or export.

I have had this issue on my iPhone for years. So at this point it is not iPhone specific or iOS specific. It’s happened on atleast 3 different physical iPhone models and multiple versions of iOS. When I am watching a video from my photos gallery it will just randomly crash. If I’m trying to use the magic eraser tool it will just randomly crash. If I’m trying to draw a circle on a photo it will crash. As a content creator it gets really frustrating and I don’t know what to do. It’s almost like a database or something is damaged but I don’t know if there is a way to rebuild anything without risking all of my photos and videos. @grok help

@DirtyTesLa @Tesla_AI I look forward to the day when FSD can use local memory to store these decisions. But in the meantime, for the map to simply respect the routing choices I make from the options it gives me… well, that definitely should not be too much to ask.

@Tesla_AI, please fix navigation!! I choose a specific route on the map to avoid an unprotected left at a busy intersection. But then, every time, FSD changes the route, apparently to save less than 400’ total. Please just let me keep the route I purposefully choose! @DirtyTesLa

@WifeDirtyTesla Many moons ago, in an FSD version I have long forgotten, my car pulled over for an oncoming RV motor home quite a ways up the street. I thought those days were behind us. Haven’t yet seen it in 14.3.2. Just makes you wonder what other regressions 14.3 has yet to disclose.

14.3.3 thought this work truck was an ambulance. If the sunlight hit it just right, FSD put on the right blinker and tried to pull over. This happened to me at least 3 times when a camper truck was behind me on 14.3.2. I had hoped .3 would fix this. FSD was basically unusable until the truck turned.

@OverlyTrev @RimaSukhadia …oh, I should add that part of the reason 14.2.2.5 probably saw the pothole was that some of the pavement was slightly buckled, a bit raised above the rest of the pavement. But for whatever reason, 14.3.2 did not respond in any way, did not see it.

@OverlyTrev @RimaSukhadia Interesting though – 14.2.2.5 would dodge a particularly large pothole near my home. When I got 14.3.2 it never saw it. (Pothole has now been partially filled until further repair).

I’m going to get ridiculed for this but so be it 😂 I disengage from potholes all the time and I too want FSD to dodge them! However I have to back TeslaAI on this one. It clearly states in the release notes this is an “upcoming improvement” and it is not currently in the model. Expecting FSD to do something that is clearly listed as “Upcoming” Is just asking for situations like this to happen. I AGREE it should already be in there but it’s not and it’s listed as coming soon. I hope this gets fixed quickly for you though!

@RealUncleTesla @C10wnw0r1d Unfortunately, PA does not currently have a right-to-charge law. I’m in Michigan; no such law here either. But I rent an apartment unit that has a garage. My landlord installed a 240 volt NEMA 14-50 outlet at no charge to me. Super landlord!

My friend needs a new car and really wants a Tesla, but he lives in an apartment (no home charger). Does anyone have this situation? I'm not sure how to advise him.

Ive had multiple Tesla's. I have never put a screen protector on. I honestly haven't seen the need for it. I wanted to ask others out there. Do you have a screen protector on your main screen? If so is it worth it?

@WifeDirtyTesla Thank you so much for your down-to-earth honesty. Something went wrong somewhere. 14.3 is not only not the final piece of the puzzle, it’s a step backward in a number of ways. There’s trouble in “paradise,” and we’re not being given the full picture.

14.3.x is broken. The phantom braking is getting out of hand. The attention monitoring is stricter. I've been manually driving a lot more because FSD is just so unpredictable on this version.

@DevinOlsenn I have seriously lost confidence in Tesla AI since the release of FSD 14.3. But hey, someone apparently deserves kudos for beautifying and gamifying the interface. Priorities?!

FSD v14.3.3 parked the wrong way and hit the curb when it was backing up. I’ve never ever had FSD back up this far during a destination park… it only stopped after I hit the brake once we hit the curb.

@DirtyTesLa Maybe. Depends on whether your driving environment is fairly consistent. But even then, different things happen at different times on the same routes. And I almost always discover irregularities in FSD behavior when traveling elsewhere.

@DirtyTesLa Understood. Thank you for your testing, Chris. I remain hopeful. But that “maybe tomorrow” thing is exactly my point; just never know for sure what you’re going to get.

It's really hard to answer most of that in a day and without a wider roll out. Anecdotally so far it does feel smoother and I haven't had any of the bad braking that I was having in 14.3.2. But that's only in about a hundred miles of driving. Maybe tomorrow it'll be really bad with braking.

@BraveHeart1946 @DirtyTesLa There will be no meaningful improvements until fsd v15. 😭 That’s the reality with this technology and the lack of compute available on ai4.

@jpt602 @mikepat711 Yes, please test this! I don’t care about playing disengagement games or polished user interfaces at this point. Just want FSD to be reliable and consistent for everyone, not just a few.
