@cullenoncurling @nightcheese86 What is the goal of Rock League? Is its purpose to create professional curling? Could you not incorporate the slams into a larger tour schedule similar to the PGA Tour?

Still coming down from a great week at Rock League but my thoughts: 1) there were some things that will need to be tweaked for next season but in my view, the two most important things are getting the format right and having the players buy in. Both of those were nailed

@cullenoncurling How about attaching a city or a regional area to the team name to make it easier for the fan to identify/hope for with a team, instead of just hoping for a team with your favourite player on it?

@BrianMoretton I think a lot of the players will return next season, yes. And I'd imagine the returning players will (mostly) be on the same teams. Want to build that familiarity.

To launch that league successfully with 60 of the world’s top curlers, to bring curling back to CBC, to partner with ESPN, etc etc within just two years of acquiring the Slams is actually crazy. I really loved it and look forward to more. How did you enjoy S1?

The Tkachuk pod was always going to create moments like this. For good and for worse they never bite their tongue. We do need more of that in hockey. But I’d be lying if I said it didn’t bother me that our captain is lacking pushback. I know it’s a podcast and it’s supposed to be a light atmosphere, but you’re the captain of the #Sens - I feel like you can’t just let it all fly. Unless he agrees with the things that are being said - in which case…that’s even more concerning. Because keep in mind this is what’s said with the cameras rolling. Can only imagine what’s said when they aren’t. Maybe I’m reading too deep into things. I don’t know. Ultimately I’m a huge Brady guy and just want to see him and this team succeed without even more off the ice distractions. And no doubt being constantly put in awkward spots like this cannot be easy for him either. Tough situation all around.
