It has nothing to do with epic not having enough money. They made terrible decision after terrible decision ALONG with allowing the most garbage copy and paste maps ever making players quit the game therefore they make less money. People who argue “brainrot is making Fortnite broke!” Think they know stuff when in reality brainrot map keep more players on Fortnite and bring some players in. I don’t think you or all these other people crying about brainrot maps realize the amount of ACTUAL slop in uefn. There are A LOT of accounts posting HUNDREDS of the EXACT SAME MAP just copy and pasted map with the EXACT same thumbnail on all of them and nothing happens and they don’t get banned. Brainrot maps are VERY far from the real problem, it is literally not any more than 2% of the problem. Fortnite is just managed terribly in every way, people are so upset that so many people got fired from epic but in reality lots (not all) of those people that were fired were part of the problem. Today people were so quick to forget all the countless bugs that have been in Fortnite the past 6 months ruining the player experience that play a part in players quitting the game (and like I said earlier, less players = less money). Overall the real problems are: 1. Terrible (and complicated) discover system. 2. Constant collabs that no one cares about. 3. VERY boring game modes that aren’t Fortnite like being given way too much effort and promotion. 4. Copy and paste maps. 5. Terrible discover algorithm that promotes the absolute worst maps known to mankind and sorts them terribly. 6. Countless bugs that never get fixed. 7. Boring BR map that isn’t vibrant and in the style Fortnite became popular for. (This one is very annoying for 3 years now they have been making these dull maps without bright colors) 8. Boring (and overpowered) BR weapons. There are also more problems like loading times taking too long that makes players not want to play but those are smaller issues that aren’t like tragic.

I agree with u on the discovery being complicated that needs changing immediately, and I almost want to say I see your point about the brainrot map not being the problem.. however, epic never should have committed to dishing out this much money to UEFN creators in the first place.. 40% of net revenue going to uefn creators is just rediculous. 25% and people woulda been just as happy AND epic could afford much much more

Theres so much I want to say about how genuinely fucked up this is from every possible angle but it all boils down to how in the past couple months we've gotten a: - v-buck price hike - shut down epic gamemodes - 1,000 laid off epic employees ALL before taking a single dime away from maps like these:

@mizery_twitch Ngl probably never unless it starts averaging like 1k players. The discover algorithm is absolutely terrible and it doesn’t help that it’s just a 1v1 map when there are a million of them. My map has never been put on any meaningful tabs even though it’s unique and gets players

How long until it potentially hits another (bigger) tab? What helps fortnite decide to give me that chance? Should I start encouraging certain things, or should I just buy out sponsored tab space?
