A woman recorded a U.S. Marshal kicking her small dog during an arrest operation in Memphis. The dog was loose on the grounds of an apartment complex. The woman who shared the video with CBS affiliate WREG said the dog suffered a broken rib. Taxes and government fees in California are astronomical, yet there’s no clear line of sight into where the money is actually going. Fast food wages are between $16-20 per hour, crushing mom-and-pop restaurants. Small businesses are disappearing. Less are now being employed because of technology. And the people funding a huge share of the tax base are leaving the state. Quality of life hasn’t improved. Infrastructure isn’t better. Homelessness is worse. Housing is unaffordable. So I’m asking this sincerely, Why are they driving people, especially those with money who are the backbone of CA, out of the state???
