Important components: 🤩 1. Balance 2. Core Strength 3. Posterior Chain engagement (use those glutes & hammies!) 4. Stacking from bottom to top (foot, knee, hips, core, shoulders, head) FEELING your body is KEY! What other fun part of this drill do you notice? Lmk! 👇🏻

Players: Instead of telling teammates to work harder, show them how to work hard. Instead of telling them to have a great attitude, display one. Before you can lead them with your words, you have to lead them with your actions. BE the kind of teammate you want. Lead by example!

If your coach is being tough and demanding of you, consider it a gift.  They probably see some things in you that you don't see in yourself. 🏆

after 5 years of preparing for my final high school game last night, i still wasn’t ready. my hardest goodbye yet.

Ended our practice today with tee races. At the end of the races it was tied, so we had to have a tie breaker around the bases. Lilly’s team beat Mirka’s team by half a second. 🧡🥎🐝🖤 @DeterdingAD

The Shedders took the early lead, but the Back Stoppettes started a come back that put them back in the running. In the end the Shedders won by 1 game.

We had a fantastic time at team bonding this morning where we came together as a family, before regionals. We played yard games, ate breakfast, spent time together, and wrote a special message to each team member. We hope it’s a day they will remember for years to come. 🧡

Players: No one should have to push you to work hard. You should want to work hard because you want to be a better player/teammate. You can get better w/ a purposeful workout in 45 minutes, < 5 % of your day. You must create the time. If you can’t, you don’t want it. No excuses!
