🚨REPORT: Ivanka Trump was targeted for assassination by an IRGC-trained terrorist. USCIS put out a new policy memo saying that people on temporary visas, like students, workers, or tourists, who want a green card should generally leave the U.S. and apply through a U.S. consulate in their home country, not adjust status while they’re here. They call adjustment of status an “extraordinary” option now, only for rare cases. The idea is to stop using short-term entry as a backdoor to permanent residency and follow the original intent of the law. While Critics say it could separate families, especially spouses of Americans, and problems for people from countries with long visa backlogs or travel bans all of which should have been taken into consideration before trying to get into the U.S. America is no longer allowing anyone entrance without following strict immigration laws. It’s brand new, so hopefully America can rid the Country of the freeloaders sooner than later.
