Interestingly, @takasocials_usa calculated the best performing players in each division at MLS Next Flex. Take this for what it's worth. I wouldn't say this is completely accurate. Some of the players listed here are not good, but just an interesting metric to look at and compare to your eye test. Some worth knowing: U-18: Ricks Ford ('07): Have also seen him go by "Bodie" to avoid confusion. Think he's the best '07 left at Barca, and a very underrated '07 overall. He should be a pro ASAP. Brady Boulanger ('07): This fits perfectly into my agenda. Big deep-lying playmaker. Red Bulls are mad that they don't give this kid pro opportunities. Think he has a ton of potential. U-17: Logan Moniz ('08): Got a recent US U-17 call-up. Was close to making my top 50 prospect list for non-MLS academies. Has some Cruz Medina to how he plays. Probably needs to seek a higher level, but reportedly not interested and likely to head to college (Duke commit). U-16: Jack Francka ('09): A top two player in this age group for SKC. Has started getting regular game time with the U-18's too. A natural 6, but positionally versatile. Think Jacob Bartlett/Jake Davis. Luke Chamberlain ('09): Have liked his development a lot this season. Having a big season. Probably a top 2 '09 at Austin FC (their best current age group). Deep-lying playmaker. U-15: Roberto Hernandez ('10): Only seen him a few times, but smart, technical, great passing vision, creative. Athleticism an issue for a #10, but let's see. Has ability. Luca Stephan ('10): Don't know what his best spot is, but smooth and technical lefty (can either play as a LB, 8, or 10). There's potential there.

Per multiple sources: Highly rated striker prospect Apolo Marinch (‘10) left Columbus Crew’s academy yesterday. Marinch is a US U-15 international and earlier this season was the youngest Crew 2 debutant ever. Next destination is currently unknown.

Transfermarkt thinks Ty Barnett ('05) of Wolves is eligible for the USA. No other evidence right now that he is other than that.

@USSoccerColl Really solid player. Just joined Mount Pleasant’s academy in Jamaica not too long ago. Was apart of the team of a few academy players that Mount Pleasant sent to England to play in some matches vs Charlton Athletic youth team late last year so on a good path

This kid impressed me against Jamaica. MLS clubs should keep an eye on him over the next year. He will be eligible to move April 2026 when he turns.
