Attitude is a choice. Gratitude is a discipline. Bitterness is expensive. Nobody accidentally has a great attitude. Nobody stumbles into gratitude. And nobody means to end up bitter, it just quietly moves in when you stop choosing something better. Guard your peace like it cost you something. Because it did.

The best cheat code is taking extreme ownership. The common denominator in every result and problem in your life is you. Stop blaming. Stop complaining. Enough with the nonesense. It not be your fault it is your responsibility. Losers blame. Winners take ownership.

It's difficult for curious people to have enemies, because everyone is seen as a teacher. And when you're motivated to learn from someone, it's hard to dislike them. And when they're happily teaching, even if only passively, it's hard for them to dislike you.

People can be surprisingly understanding and forgiving when you take full responsibility and make no excuses. Even if you are completely in the wrong with no plausible defense for your actions.

Nobody tells you this: Ignore your mood. It doesn't matter whether you want to do the thing. It matters that you said you'd do it. The world belongs to the people who show up and do what they said they'd do. Reliability is the key to life. Just keep showing up.

Major life hack: The ability to keep showing up even when the rewards are uncertain. Tolerance for uncertainty is the most valuable human trait. The one who can tolerate the most uncertainty is the one who will eventually win.

The more you have to lose, the better you have to be at letting stuff go. Revenge is a game that only people with no one depending on them can play to the bone—and you might have to take it there. Because, as the old saying goes, when you seek revenge, make sure you dig two graves. "An eye for an eye" sounds cool until you're blind because your revenge—however deserved it feels or actually is—came with retaliation and consequences.

I hit 315x7 in the gym without benching for 6+ months prior A couple years ago I moved out of barbell training and into calisthenics. Have some kettlebells at the house too. 99% of my training is done this way. I get in the gym a few times a year. -Started doing more endurance sports + had a baby... training from home fits Been able to keep moving 3 wheels on bench mainly due to this exercise here Weighted Push Ups Do with the handles to save on wrists and it will mimic a D-bell press. (80-100lbs in the pack here) Another take a way... years and years of strength work transitioned very well into doing more body weight and even into endurance. Strength is never a weakness!
