@CYerdon Hello Carolyn. Love your snowfall data and enthusiasm! Avid snow watcher here, and I noticed you stopped publishing Redfield snow data a few years ago, or am I mistaken? Edward Ajlouny
“Spring” Joy!! Who said Spring has to be depressing, wet, muddy …Just over 9 inches of a beautiful fresh white blanket
N Redfield NY April 8th
271 inches so far !! The most in 6 years for us
There is sunshine and snow and beautiful blue skies. Great day to leap for joy! We are holding at 244.5 inches for the season.(2018/19 247 “) so it’s been awhile N Redfield NY
@stefanonick5 Seasons that have produced over 250 inches I would “guess” about 75% is lake effect I only specialize in “ground truth” but When the forecast is for “widespread snow“ we do get some, but our larger totals I believe are straight from my friend Lake Ontario ⛄️❄️
The peaceful quiet (and my favorite kind of curtains ) after the storm or before the next, no bragging rights here several areas got much more. We got 17 inches in 36 hours 244.5 inches season total for North Redfield, New York.
20.5 inches for us today season total now at 153.5 I’m gonna guess that there was a few that got a lot more than we did, but I would dare say not too many had as much fun as I did
Remember when…What a difference 11 years ago today 202 inches had piled up …Fast forward 105 “ currently as of today (2025) Redfield NY Miss the old days 😉
@MrEd315 The wind has not been our friend in this storm awaiting to see what this weekend brings. We seem to be right on the edge of it the wrong edge in my opinion lol
