My most unhinged run-in with HR was while working at a biotech company as a senior scientist, a long time ago. They were doing racism audits, and me being an Asian, they targeted me in an inquisition-style interrogation. In essence, it was about 30 minutes of them... Gen Z women with a chip on their shoulders, trying to make me say that I experienced racism at the company. It was them framing every little comment, quip, joke, and conversation that my 'white' coworkers had with me into some sort of racist dog whistle. They wanted me to "out" my work friends as "racists" so that HR could crucify them. I knew they were recording the whole time, so I had to be very careful with my words. I kept my answers brutally short, usually with a single-word answer of "no", or that lacks context, or that's a misframing. They were literally trying to manufacture problems to go after people to justify their existence. They were trying to goad me, to extract the "right" answers from me that I refused to play their stupid game. After the interview was over, and after their little racism witch hunt didn't work, they moved on to other targets, other minorities, other stupid problems no one cared about.

Someone saying, "I don't see a difference between 60Hz and 600Hz"

Well you know, if the boomers just came out and said "Yeah, the economy has gotten really bad, and our currency has been debased. No matter what we vote for, the country gets worse, and the lives of our children are being degraded." I guarantee you that 90% of people getting mad at boomers would have no problem anymore. Because that's all we're trying to say. Instead, it's got to be some nonsense about imaginary avocado toast, and telling people to feed their children hardtack as a solution to buying a house. The generational divide is almost entirely because of boomers obsession with trying to act like they are some sort of hard asses, who lived through everything, and had nothing. Lol.

Gen Z, 26. Haven't bought a nice shiny thing in 7 years. Meal plan for savings. Don't eat out. Minimalist lifestyle. Never had any debt, do not plan on gaining any. I will have to move to Paraguay to have a reasonable future even while saving like a freak. I hear this 24/7.

Yes, @RepThomasMassie voted with Democrats to oppose Trump's Iran war. But had Biden started the same war, Massie would've voted with Republicans to oppose it. The difference is Massie votes his conscience and honors his oath to support the Constitution. The rest are party hacks.

@JayTC53 Massie is anything but a career politician. He is one of the only principled members of congress willing to support what Republicans are supposed to stand for. He doesn't sell us out to keep his job.
