With a successful season now almost finished we would like to share our vision for the future of the club. Please can everyone share and give your feedback.

Great wins from both teams at the weekend. First’s traveled to Oulton and posted 147 runs. We bowled Oulton all out for 95. Second’s hosted Balby Recreation setting 183 runs. Ryan with 74 Runs. We bowled Balby out for 90 with Adam taking 5 of the wickets.

This weeks home matches

On Thursday our under 11’s team played Frickley Colliery & won by 41 Runs. Leo was the pick of the batters with 25 not out off 12 balls along with runs from Ellis, Jacob & Levi. Ava-Grace had two wicket maidens. Hridyin & Freddie with maidens & a wicket apiece from their 2 overs.

On Friday our Under 9’s team played Hatfield town and won by 102 runs. Runs from Ellis 25, Jaccob 23, Cohen 17 and Noah 11 along with runs from everyone who batted.

On Saturday our first travelled to Stainborough putting up a target of 181. Harry 53 not out and Ethan 48 had the best of the batting before we bowled Stainborough out for 30! Ethan with 5 Ben taking 4 wickets.

On Saturday Our Second’s hosted Newton hill we managed 77 runs. Newton looked to be on track for the win until Scott took 4 wickets in 4 bowls, an over that proved decisive. Scott Ended up with 6 wickets, Jason providing the other 4, two of them catches from Drew. CGCC win by 7!

On Sunday our under 13’s played at Pledwick. Pledwick batted well and despite 3 wickets from James set a geed target of 132. We lost a couple of early wickets and despite a good scores from Hughie 35 Abdullah 20 and Ellis 11 we could only manage a score 84.
