My profound condolences over the death of five workers in a cracker manufacturing unit in village Fatuhiwala near Lambi in Muktsar district. My prayers for the speedy recovery of the 25 injured. While it calls for a probe as precious lives have been lost, I appeal the @PbGovtIndia for adequate compensation to the families of the victims.

The @AamAadmiParty has yet again betrayed people of Punjab by IMPORTING people from Delhi and Uttar Pradesh to head various boards and corporations including Punjab Pollution Control Board and Punjab Large Industries Development Board. People of Punjab will neither forget nor forgive this betrayal. My sympathies for the @AAPPunjab workers who have been sidelined and marginalised to accommodate and rehabilitate outsiders. More important and more serious issue is where does it stop and will it stop here only? Anybody’s guess.

Deeply saddened to hear about the passing away of former deputy speaker S. Bir Devinder Singh ji. He was renowned for his deep knowledge about Punjab, his humility & selfless service. I extend my deepest condolence to the bereaved family membes. May Waheguru rest the departed soul in peace. 🙏🏻
