Cora has been helping wrap Christmas gifts for asylum seeking children and children in foster homes making sure every child gets a present from Santa this year. 100 done, a few hundred to go! @OPALG_5TH2526

Cora’s annual project… sorting and wrapping gifts for displaced children and the women’s refuge! Thanks to the generosity of cashforkids, no asylum seeking or refugee child in the Wakefield district will go without a gift this Christmas @OPALG_4H @OPA_LG

Cora was absolutely incredible in the dance show! 5 dances and all of them wonderful! How she’s still going after 3 days of dance is beyond me! @OPALG_4H @OPA_LG

@OPALG_3H Cora spent the weekend sundodging by working with a remote IT technician (and YouTube tutorials) to recondition an old laptop so she can download Roblox! Stunned at how well she followed direction and managed to upgrade and update an entire laptop which hasn’t worked since 2021

It’s quite handy having an 8 year old when you’re trying to create a new presentation about refugees for children! Cora’s input was invaluable, making sure content was age appropriate and I’m now ready for school visits across the district! @OPALG_3H @OPA_LG #computergenius

Time to play catch up! Cora actually really enjoyed doing the long addition and has mastered a new way of adding quickly! She was very proud to get 25/25 @OPALG_3H

How difficult is it to put two suitcases on a plane when they have been checked in? Now on the other side of the world with NOTHING but the clothes on our back Absolutely shameful! Where’s my luggage @Icelandair? Promised they’d be on a flight to Toronto today, NOTHING
