@MatthewHindson @pulseonapath @dspreadbury Sibeilus is unusable for me. I can't cope with the "fixed" rhythmic placement at note input. That isn't how I think of music, and Finale allows rhythm to remain infinitely flexible from the outset through to printing.

@pulseonapath Sibelius is a better composing tool - at least it is for my music. The R key is my friend. Layout formatting and parts creation on the other hand... Dorico - I just don't like the output. Sorry @dspreadbury. But it's great it exists, setting UI standard and new ways to do things

As a long time Finale user, I’ve turned to the purple side (Sibelius) for my last few chamber pieces. While there are some things I really like about Sib (formatting algorithms so much better for a start) there are some insanely stupid bits of programming.
