This is getting to the desperate stage now. The pitch could have been cleared and the game restarted for perhaps a minute or so but Hearts weren't scoring two goals in that time even with the best of efforts. They were done. They sent their goalie up late in the injury time and knew it was a gamble which they lost. It was a gamble they had to take though and thats that on that. Celtic fans rushing the pitch and assaulting Hearts players and staff (as well as stewards working for Parkheed) is not acceptable though. If you watch the footage you can see stewards getting the Hearts players and staff off the pitch and sidelines and McInnes being taken off by the police. Here's the facts. The game won't be replayed and Celtic won't be deducted points from this season (as I have seen wished for on some Hearts comments). If there were to be a deduction it would be from next season. No rules work in the favour of Hearts here and posts like this do not help them. Better that they get behind Dunfermline next weekend and get that Scottish Cup!

Rules say Hearts should be given the title after what happened before the final whistle was blown. However, zero chance this SPFL has the spine to implement this decision.

Seeing some fans mock this, but this is what football is all about - a community supporting your team when they win and when they come close. Too much of modern football has become over-commercialised and sanitised, especially at the top level.
