I’m sharing the very sad news that Beccy passed away peacefully this morning. She spent her last few days at @SJHospice who provided the most dignified & compassionate care to Beccy & her whole family. Donations to the hospice can be made in Beccy’s memory. ❤️

Some days are harder than others. Especially when you have lost a young person. Out of step, out of time and too young.

Had a covid top up yesterday. It’s odd I’d never ask anyone why they had been invited but had to go into family heart issues and because my brother died of undiagnosed hypertrophic cardiomyopathy I get one. Are we really having to justify our medical decisions in 2023.

And really I’d just like to focus on the fact that he lived and was part of my life. I suppose this time of year is hard , and having the jab has made me feel a bit wobbly and tired.

I mean there’s no work as the industry is shut down at present but a perfect time to skill up

There’s hardly any jobs in the north now for TV. Our industry has been slammed this year and most jobs are advertised are in London. So this was another Sad loss.

We are shocked and desperately saddened to learn that the famous Sycamore Gap tree at Hadrian's Wall has been felled overnight, in what appears to be an act of vandalism. We know just how much this iconic tree is loved locally, nationally and by everyone who has visited. We are working with our partners to understand what has happened and what can be done. The incident has also been reported to the police.
