The amount of trans men who are going to get abused for being 'too manly' having to use the women's toilets is so ironic. It was never about 'biology', only pure bigotry. Every politician who gave into this lot should be ashamed. Taken the country back decades.

It's really important that we don't use soft language to make things more 'palatable' or less 'alarmist'. What the UK government is currently committed to is a programme of social murder against both trans people and disabled people. And we need to name it for what it is.

@alywarren7 @marcouk73 I am sure they do, but the chances of meeting a trans person in the loo is very very minimal. They used to use the loo they identified with as it’s a quick in and out. My point is the obsession with wanting trans women in women sports has led to this. They shot their own feet.

@Cecechickengirl @marcouk73 No the same rules apply to toilets and changing rooms. Men, all men including those in frocks, must by law stay out of a female single sex spaces. Men, however they dress, must use the male toilets. It's the law and women say no to any men in their spaces.

as a trans man i'm not allowed to use the men's toilet now because it says F on my birth certificate but i'm also not allowed to use the women's toilet because i may cause distress for looking like a man.... WHERE TF DO YOU WANT ME TO PISS????

I condemn the deadly attack on a mosque in San Diego. My thoughts are with those affected. I know many Muslims in the UK will be shaken by this, worried about their safety when going about their lives and attending mosque, and what it says about the times we’re living in. I understand those fears. Violence like this does not happen in a vacuum. It grows in an environment where division and anti-Muslim hostility are normalised. That is intolerable. We must all come together against it.
