📢 New Report Release! The NIA’s 2025 Ageing in Canada Survey is here. Now in its fourth year, the Ageing in Canada Survey is one of Canada’s most comprehensive annual snapshots of the experiences, perspectives and expectations of Canadians aged 50 and older. Conducted by the NIA with support from @Manulife, this year’s survey finds: ● Positive feelings toward ageing fell from 62% in 2024 to 57% in 2025 — the steepest decline since the survey began in 2022 ● 43% of older adults are at high risk of social isolation, and 57% experience loneliness — unchanged since 2022 ● 20% of older adults live with material deprivation, though fewer report being unable to afford dental care (16% in 2024 → 11% in 2025) ● Only 29% can afford to retire at their desired age 📣 Policymakers, service providers, employers and communities all have a role in ensuring systems meet the needs of an ageing population. 📊 Read the full report: niageing.ca/reports/perspe… #AgeingInCanada #HealthyAgeing #SocialIsolation #FinancialSecurity #NIA #Longevity #PolicyForAgeing
