@SteveMcEllis I can believe it, the TX high school I attended apparently had a plaque with a Cross on the front side of the building which I found out about years after graduating when someone tried to get it removed and people created a community petition to stop the removal.

The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that TX can require public schools to display the Ten Commandments because the majority of the judges on that court are idiots. They don't understand the Constitution. Coerced religion is ok if it's their religion.

@SteveMcEllis Of course there's no voter fraud in those states, in fact there's absolutely nothing suspicious about the fact that during the last election my state declared Orange Voldemort the winner after only 10% of the votes were counted 🤷🏽‍♀️

Trump has announced a crackdown on fraud in Democratic states & arrests have already been made in CA. I guess there's no fraud in Republican states.

I've been to a few conventions now and I really hope I don't ever have the misfortune of meeting whomever @charlieputh was singing about on 'Don't Meet Your Heroes' because I do in fact enjoy meeting the people I grew up seeing on the tv screen.

@TheBronxPulse Ah.I just read it as someone asking to see if it was a universal thing for parents to do because sometimes talking to other people about things that were normal in your household wasn't the universal experience.

This is the response the person behind the account should’ve said to me. What happens is an account with a large following will ask a question like this and end it with “I’m trying to see something” or “I’m trying to make a point.” But then they never get back to their followers with the point or what it was they were trying to see. Engagement crap and I don’t fall for it.

@hairydjo I haven't seen the tweets you're talking about and I'm sure some people are 100% being really awful. Some of it however could be jealousy because kissing a celeb at almost any m&g in the US is expressly forbidden to the point you'll be kicked out entirely if you even try.

@windriderz49 It's not on mine, but apparently at some point in US public Schools they used to do some sort of blood type experiment in biology class which apparently stopped being a thing when it exposed secrets like their dad wasn't actually their dad or they were adopted etc

@affirmationbae1 In my case my biofather's family hated my mom because she was white&from what little I know from talking to one of my siblings our bio father very much taught him to despise ALL white people and the man tried to say as such to me which yes some white folks are racist but not all

@affirmationbae1 I've never watched the show so I dont know anything about them. I do know with my experience being raised with only my white side that they will NEVER actually SAY anything to indicate that they want you to be a little white girl.Their actions however are a different story.

@affirmationbae1 At least that's been my experience. Even your least racist white relatives are still racist they'll just weaponize their proximity to you as proof to society that they aren't racist because they allegedly accept you specifically,but never truly. Toleration isn't acceptance.
