@ljfb56 @coopuk @AldiUK @Tesco When I worked in Sainsbury’s, we got in trouble if we challenged people (believe me, we wanted to) and 9/10 when we did offer them a free mask, we got abuse. When we had a store limit, we got abuse at the door too. The staff are on your side, just can’t do anything about it!😕

Buying my Sunday paper at my local @coopuk, unmasked people in front and behind. Asked why they had not been challenged and was told it was not company policy (to uphold the law?) in case they became aggressive. What are @AldiUK, @Tesco, etc company policy? I work in a care home.

If any drama tutor or official tells you they are 'preparing you for the industry' by treating you badly they are lying. This industry can indeed be harsh. Anyone who is not supporting your safety & actively working to change the system is profiting from it, not addressing it.

Just because YOU never had a bad experience with him doesn’t mean he never did wrong. He is a huge part of the problem. Everyone one in this situation needs to be held accountable and hopefully this is the beginning of that process. This is so triggering for so many. Check in.
