Just my two cents, deeply appreciate all yall do for democracy, informing the public, and promoting human rights throughout the world!

Can we imagine how Trump would deal with a female president in Mexico, threatening mass deportations that should be presumed would be sent to Mexico with no regard of or support to the Mexican govt?

And all the time consuming news of the us election and perspectives (shout out @Timodc) about how immigration is one of the key issue of the election. But still I see such a one-sided narrative on all sides that’s just focused on immigrants now and not to the future

I’ve been living here for the year, and have seen both perspectives about the candidates before the Mexican election, the fears and anxiety from the past month regarding judicial and natl guard reforms, its impacts on the economy, the rising intra-cartel violence, etc

School districts are terribly underfunded, and HB 1162 is nothing more than a mandate on school districts that they cannot afford. We need to take care of our schools and children, not add more stress to them. #coleg

Happy that these legislators have listened to the concerns of Whole Foods shoppers. How about our poorest and most vulnerable who don’t have reusable bags? How about mom and pop restaurants that this plastic ban will tip them over? #coleg

Yes, plastics are a problem in our community, but a major problem is the lack of a recycling infrastructure in Colorado. Our recycling rates have been declining, and we need to make sure our state is set up to be a leader in recycables. #coleg

@cuneytdil I actually believe that greed-based motivators (such as material resources or economic opportunity) are better predictors for political and social unrest. Usually, the ideology/grievance-based argument is used as a cover or as a recruitment tool. Still, crazy times we live in
